Through its integration into B.I.G., Escarda gains access to specialized teams in photonics, software development, and industrial manufacturing. This collaboration ensures not only the quality of the system but also a robust service infrastructure for deployment in the upcoming seasons.
The weed‑control system combines laser technology, high‑resolution imaging, and AI‑driven plant recognition. It distinguishes weeds from crops in real time and removes them with pinpoint precision – without the use of chemicals. This opens up new opportunities for weed management, especially in labor‑intensive crops. Built as a professional laser system for real‑world field conditions, Escarda includes comprehensive machine‑safety architecture, a Class‑1 laser design, and documented safety protocols.
